In 1993 my wife Susan and I began our business and worked hard and long to come to where we are today. We began doing all the work in the business ourselves with a long term goal of expansion but we wanted to know all of the in's and out's of the business and I truely believe that you can't know the business well unless you have worn all the hats, and trust me we sure did!

Now as we approach the 20 year mark, I look at how we have grown with pride. We still work hard but now we have the assistance of a great staff who we couldn't be where we are without them!

In 1999 our goal was to greater expand into the Fire Restoration and Water Damage areas as we want to feel the satisfaction of helping people and when someone has experienced a disaster in their home it can make all the difference to have caring professionals help you through.

We joined a national franchise at that time to really be able to focus on gaining the knowledge of providing experienced service.

During the last years in the franchise we so often got calls from people asking if this was "Phil Ringstad's company", so when our contract expired in 2009, we decided we had learned as much as we could and instead of paying the franchisee we would put the royalties towards local advertisers to help our community; which I was born and raised and also to be able to pass along a savings to our loyal customers and we decided to use the name Ringstad as this was logical so people knew how to find us and because I stand behind my name for the work we do.

So now we offer a full range of services from Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning, Fire, Soot & Water Damage Restoration which includes a full department to handle your content "personal belongings".

As a third generation Alaskan I have grown up here and love Fairbanks and I take pride in providing you a quality service.
